Fire as a Weapon

UFF Fire as Weapon Position statement FINAL

Dear Colleagues:

You may recall that we discussed “Fire as a Weapon” just after the “active shooter” policy position discussion in 2014. At that meeting the UFF Chiefs took a position on responses to such events (attached).

Given a new ISIS publication, Fire as a weapon is once again on the forefront. Issue #5 of Rumiyah

Quotes from the article
“The new ISIS terror weapon is fire”
“This is a quick option for anyone intending to join the just terror campaign,”
“With some simple and readily accessible materials (i.e. flammables), one can easily terrorize an entire nation,”
The article offers a photo of a Dallas Baptist Church.

Here is a reporter article about it..
