On the weekend of May 4-5 the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation held their annual memorial weekend services in Emmitsbug, Maryland. Two Rhode Island chief officers were added to the memorial on the campus of the National Fire Academy. RIAFC Foundation Clam Boil a great success

The Bristol Fire Department, led by Chief Mike DeMello, once again put on a great clam boil for the RI Association of Fire Chiefs to benefit the RIAFC Foundation. Attendance was 110 members and guests of the RIAFC with another dozen or more members of the BFD doing the cooking and serving.
