Chief Frank Sylvester honored by hundreds in attendance at his retirement party



Over 300 friends, family and fire department personnel honored Chief Frank Sylvester Saturday at Twin River on the occasion of his retirement from the fire service. This extremely well attended event was a well deserved celebration of Chief Sylvester’s long and allustrius career in the fire service. With five decades in the fire service he served the last 28 as the Chief of the Limerock Fire District in Lincoln, RI.

In the photos above, Chief Sylvester is shown relinquishing the departments ceremonial ax to Limerock Fire District Chairman Ron Rivet, who in turn presented the ax to new Limerock Chief Timothy Walsh.
