Donations requested for RIAFC PAC fund

The RIAFC Political Action Committee (PAC) is requesting the support of our members who feel that our PAC is a needed and vital part of our legislative activities at the RI General Assembly.

Due to strict regulations regarding donations to a PAC, and how these donations are reported, we are no longer allowed to donate proceeds from a monthly 50/50 raffle to our PAC.  Nevertheless, because of the importance to our organization of continuing to participate in the political process, it is necessary that we continue to fund our PAC through your contributions.

RI election laws stipulate that “contributions of funds may be made by check, money order, or credit or debit card and may be made over the internet and via electronic payment systems”, and when the amount of a donation made by an individual is $100 or less over the course of a year, a record of the name, address, and place of employment of the donor must be maintained by the PAC but is not reported to the board of elections, maintaining your privacy.

Keeping this in mind, we want to keep the process of donating to our PAC as simple as possible.  Donations of $100 or less, made with a credit card through our online payment method will meet the above criteria.  Simply filling out the form below, and choosing one of the six donation levels provided,($10, $15, $25, $50, $75, $100) and paying with your credit/debit card, you can be a supporter of our PAC as we move forward with our legislative agenda.

We hope that you consider a donation to our PAC at the level that suites you best. We realize and understand that a lower level of support may be more in line with your personal preference.

As always, feel free to reach out to RIAFC executive director Rick Susi with any questions or concerns. 401-692-0795 or rifirechiefs@gmail.com
